Jack White has turned down the chance to appear on Slash's debut solo album, according to the former Guns N' Roses guitarist. No Doubt are taking legal action against the creators of the game 'Band Hero' in a bid to have their likenesses removed from the release of the new game. Having signed a deal with Activision to feature as characters, the band say that the manufacturers reportedly failed to stick to their agreement. The closure of torrent website The Pirate Bay led to a 300 percent increase in copycat sites launching, according to a new report by McAfee. Swedish courts ruled in August that The Pirate Bay should be closed down after its four founders were jailed for copyright infringement.
